Those teaching moments sometimes don't go exactly how I would like or I'm often left wondering if he really understood. But sometimes they go perfectly.
Here is a conversation I had with Buck after his prayers last night:
Me: Buck?
Buck: Yeah?
Me: Did you know Heavenly Father and Jesus love you very much?
long pause
Buck: Jesus Christ?
Me: Yeah, honey. Jesus Christ. And Heavenly Father. They are proud of you and love you very very much.
Buck: Oh... Wow!
